Well, my Attend C is going to end on Tuesday and on Wed, I will have to report back to Khatib Camp for clerk duties i guess. Not very sure also.

As for my knee, i torn my ACL yet again and would have to go through another operation if i want to keep an active lifestyle. That forces me to think and probably will have to change my lifestyle so as to prevent yet another tear as i could not afford that. Scheduled to go for another operation on the 14th of Jan next year. So from now till then, guess i would be just filling up some admin roles.

Later.

Life now is just basically waiting and acting on how the events unfold.

Well, now about 9 or 10days gone in my 14 days MC, i would say that my knee had improved but not fully recovered. Some swelling still can be seen and that worries me. Not sure how would it affect my future life and whether would i still need another operation. Just the thought of it scares me.

Somehow, I still feel that it is rather wasteful for me to OOC from the supposedly easiest course in Artillery And don't mention the hurt pride. However, facing a lifetime of injury i still hope that i made the right decision.

Damn, life's tough but since when anyone said it would be easy?

Quite a number of events occurred since the last time i blogged and shall list them out.

Went for a specialist review on Tuesday and did an MRI scan for my knee so as to determine the damage done. Was also ordered 21 days of medical leave by the doctor. Initial diagnosis suggests that the ligament is not torn but the scan is to confirm it.

Return to camp so that the MO can endorse the MC and was only given 14days as 21 days would be out of the power of the MO and so he will review me on another day to see whether i still need the MC.

More details will be known when the scan results are out.

Been keeping track of today as it marks the 6 month mark of my 1 year 10 months army journey. Well, it's not that much but it better to at least have done 6 months than not to have done any.

Well, kind of injured my right knee again as i landed badly when coming off the low wall and resulting in a strain in the muscles around the knee and I am just hoping that it would be a simple strain and no damage done to the ligament. I would know after my specialist appointment on Tuesday. Wish me luck.

As a results of that, might not be able to run the Nike Human Race but will still get the goodies bag so as to recoup some of the fee that i paid already.

7 weeks done, 6 more to go. (That's if i don't OOC)

i can only imagine....

Just watched a video on Youtube as recommended by Amos. It was an awe inspiring video about a guy with no limbs but still had the strength to get up. If you do have the time, please do watch this video.

Are you going to finish strong? Are you?

Every weekend brings joy and sadness. Even as I reaching the half year mark of being in the army, the feeling before each book in still unbearable. Maybe because of the army then I learnt how to appreciate the comforts of home and civilian life that i took granted of before enlisting. Also, keeping in touch with my friends are really very important. Perhaps army isn't that bad afterall.....
